Our story
We are a family of artists, engineers, and inventors who’s legacy spans multiple generations. Creativity is deeply ingrained in the family DNA. Our Swedish ancestors were prolific inventors, machinists, engineers and artists. Multiple generations of Scholin’s have been passionate photographers, wood workers, painters and sculptors, have been granted numerous patents, and have studied and earned degrees in such varying fields as mechanical engineering, art history, drawing, and dance. The current generations carry on the family traditions of passionate creativity in multiple mediums, and while Scholin Studios itself is new, the artisans behind the works are accomplished in their respective disciplines and have had decades of practice and generations of mentorship.
